See our Mentors in "Recovery"

After the pandemic, OUSD initiated the Central Academic Recovery (CAR) team to address the number of 10th and 11th graders already off track for graduatation.  Their three dedicated math, history and English teachers provide credit recovery classes at three different schools as well as though video classes. 

Our mentors have been working in CAR classrooms since 2022.  This fall we had 9 mentors supporting students across all subjects.  Last month we captured our teacher - mentor pairs at McClymonds and Castlemont.  See them all!
