MENTOR OPENINGS
Summer HAcK 2026
(Healing and Academics 4 Kids)

This will be our 4th year participating as a partner for OUSD's Summer HAcK! The program provides academic credit recovery for rising 10th and 11th graders through hands-on projects, mindfulness, and field trips.

June 8 - July 2 from 9am - 1:30pm at Life Academy​

Subjects we're supporting:

Algebra 1​

Biology

English 1
-
Geometry
-
World History
-
PE and art programs may also be options

Mentors attend at least one of the three class sessions each day​

Great for volunteer certification or field credit

2026-27 School Year Mentor Needs
​
​Mentors attend one 1.5 hour class per week.​
​
We expect to need mentors to support the following subjects:

Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 as well as in academic recovery for those subjects

English 1 and English 2 as well as academic recovery
-
U.S. and World History academic recovery
-
Other English Language Arts
